| The Canine2 Iron Dog 2002 Competition drew competitors from different states like California, Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana and more. These contestants were from different working dog backgrounds like sport dogs, law enforcement, Search and rescue, Personal protection, Security and just the average pet from home. There were all types of breeds, Presa's, Rotts, Mals, German and Chez shepherd, Pitts, American bull dogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Labs, Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans and Dutch Shepherd.
